American Medical Response (AMR) has an immediate opening for a part time Wheelchair Van Driver. Wheelchair Van Drivers provide transportation for patients to and from hospitals, extended care facilities, dialysis centers, physician’s offices or residences, using skill and compassionate driving to avoid sudden motions detrimental to patient. The qualified candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and obtain and maintain CPR and first aid certification. HS Diploma or GED and related experience or training desired. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Verbally communicates with dispatch, customers and operations; uses appropriate forms when documenting information; maintains vehicle in a safe and efficient operating condition, ensuring cleanliness of equipment and supplies; participates in quality assurance activities. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to two and a half years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
