The Norm Labourer is responsible for assisting with decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) Waste, training will be provided in the detection and safe management of NORM. At our facility, you will be responsible for detecting, surveying, handling and decontaminating oilfield equipment and waste. Duties include cleaning with high pressure water blast equipment, sampling, documenting and storing waste. Other tasks include maintenance of the decontamination equipment and facility, as well as detailed reporting of daily operations and inspections to meet client and requlator requirements. To achieve all the key responsibilities, field work and overtime as well as weekend work will be required from time to time.
