JOB TITLE: Prestige Finance Intern

REPORTS TO:  Finance Director

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Assist the Finance team in all areas including strategic, operational, creative, and administrative.

GENERAL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (subject to change depending on needs of dept):

·         Own an executional project that takes on responsibilities that may include competitive research analysis, strategic planning, best practices, etc.

·         Attend team and department meetings to ensure knowledge, good communication and adherence to timetables

·         Access financial data from our systems, prepare reports on revenue and expenses

·         Prepare analysis related to Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet accounts

·         Create reports and analysis related to key account performance and brand profitability

·         Prepare journal entries

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

·         Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in finance/accounting or related field

·         Previous internships in finance and/or related work experience preferred

 

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Business - administration, multi-tasking, analytical, business-savvy, organizational, detail-oriented, time management, strong understanding of MS Office (Excel)

·         Leadership and Personal - communication, integrity, dependability, initiative, flexibility, sensitivity, collaboration, sense of urgency, proactivity, preparedness, personal presence, accuracy, juggling complex workload, ownership, accountability, positive team player
