FOR PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION
This notice is being provided in connection with the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification by the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for the following job opportunity in the Baltimore, Maryland area:
RN CLINICAL NURSE
Provide professional nursing care according to specified physician orders and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Medical Center administrative nursing policies. Interview and observe patients in order to assess needs, and to assist in developing semi-complex patient care plans. Administer medications and assist physicians in administering treatments and diagnostic tests. Monitor intravenous therapeutic treatments. Make periodic patient rounds, take vital signs and evaluate patient care provided by LPN’s, technicians, nursing assistants, etc. Report significant changes in patients’ condition or affect to appropriate nursing or physician professional. Assist with or implement corrective measures as directed during adverse patient developments. Maintain current, accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care. Respond to patient inquiries, complaints and routine service requests. Explain and record discharge instructions to patients or their families in the absence of a higher level nursing professional. Attend in-service training and continuing education programs. Perform related nursing duties as assigned. Current Maryland State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (reciprocity accepted), and CPR Certification.
Rate of Pay: $28.20 per hour minimum
