The Environmental Services Finance team is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to provide additional support to the Calgary, AB office. This position will report directly to the Regional Controller. The Environmental Services Finance team provides operational reporting and analysis support to the business unit as well as consolidated financial reporting and analysis to the corporate Finance team for Tervita. The Financial Analyst position will contribute to the broader team by providing a critical focus on profitability, project & operational costing, resource utilization, and overhead allocation through detailed analysis of results. The successful candidate will therefore bring with them a strong technical background in finance and accounting combined with strategic business and data analysis & report building acumen. The role will appeal to those who thrive in fast paced, dynamic, and growth oriented environments with a wide variety of projects and competing deadlines.
The Financial Analyst will provide project support through a combination of the following work with an eye on standardizing through collaboration with Tervita colleagues locally and across North America:
