Nurse Clinician IIM--Lifeline Critical Care Transport
Pay Grade:  RK


Minimum Requirements:

-RN (BSN Preferred),


Experience within the last 5 years:

- 2 years ICU experience, preferred; or

- 1 year ICU RN experience + 3 years CCT Paramedic experience; or

- 3 years CCTT RN experience


Responsible for coordinating care for a group of patients for a designated time period to achieve clinical and organizational outcomes.

-Provides direct patient care based on the nursing process.

-Provides direction to/manages other team members to promote quality and excellence of care.

-Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize team performance.

-Promotes improvement in unit processes and systems to benefit patient care and achieve unit goals.

-May act in the absence of the Nurse Clinician (NC) III to oversee daily care for a group of patients, as assigned.

-Requires Baccalaureate degree from an accredited School of Nursing and eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland.

-Knowledge of nursing process. Social, behavioral and physical knowledge of current health care environment.

-Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality patient care.

-Ability to work in a fast paced university teaching hospital.
