Responsible for performing rehabilitation therapy services to patient/clients in a mental health or vocational rehabilitation program. Provide clinical case management services to 8-10 individuals with serious mental illnesses using a team approach in a community setting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Mental Health or closely related field and less than six months previous experience.
No certification, registration or licensure required.
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Maryland driver's license with less than 2 points and own vehicle to transport member's in car.
Required Physical, Mental, and Visual Abilities
Reaching and grasping objects.
Using a keyboard to interact with computer system.
Proofreading and/or reviewing documents.
Work is generally performed in an office or clinical environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions.
