Our production is mainly devoted to the manufature and sale of gray Portland cement, mortar, premixed concrete, concrete blocks, plaster, aggregates and other construction materials.
This skilled position involves supervision of the applicable shop and/or department responsible for the maintenance of all company equipment.
Schedule repairs so as to maximize company resources and minimize down time.
Complete work orders and purchase orders accurately and timely.
Follow all established company policies.
Promote good morale and performance.
Fulfill the company’s mission statement personally and within the shop.
Complete driver reports and ensure equipment availability for the next shift.
Order parts (as required) and maintain appropriate inventories as directed.
Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
Repair malfunctioning equipment and parts as necessary.
Replace defective engines and subassemblies (such as transmissions).
Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
Weld broken parts and structural members.
Thorough mechanical knowledge of all vehicles and other related equipment.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Ability to keep accurate time and material records.
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
Familiarity with systems and computers.
Commercial Drivers License with doubles endorsements.
